Stent Placement Injury

Complications occurred while placing a stent in the left main coronary artery (LCA). The angle between the LCA and LAD artery meant an existing stent was protruding into the LCA. Not considering this caused stents to entangle and crush second one. Plaque formed resulting in heart attack and bypass surgery.
